Summer Art Camp 2011 ~ August in Brampton

These photos capture the amazing week we had at the Art Camp in Brampton..

It was a joy and pleasure to explore creativity with these young people!
I would also like to acknowledge Bibi Lacemen and husband for their generosity in opening up their family's new basement recreation room for us! And I would like to thank Maariyah for her assistance with the children..they loved being with her :-)

ENJOYING OUR ENVIRONMENT:
whether it's blowing bubbles in the back

 Ahh..yes ...the perfect bubble!

Or exploring a local path around the pond
discovering a perfect shady spot by the local tree farm:

Watercolors:

SCULPTURE: cutting up an old surf board is fun!

YOGA TIME!
 Sun Salutaion series...

 Partner Yoga

a great warrior pose
The children loved this part

Painting on BIG pieces of wet water color paper
...with the fluffy Chinese brushes ~ yummy!

Lunchtime: who has what to eat/share/trade?

They took turns doing kitchen clean-up after lunch

Reviewing and appreciating what was created...

And more play...

Jumping around in their silkscreened pillow cases

The week is ending; look what we accomplished:
